Cityread 2014 took place in April which might seem a long time ago but Stellar Libraries (organisers of Cityread London) have produced a wonderful video highlighting the main events of this year’s programme including Brent Tamil Reading Group’s use of the translated synopsis and the importance of ALAG’s translations to further the aims of the Cityread promotion.
ALAG is very grateful to Stellar Libraries and all the Cityread team for acknowledging our contribution and the partners that we have worked with to make it successful.

I would very much like to have seen the video, as it seemed quite interesting. However, there was no sound. The Cityread idea is a great initiative.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I am glad that you think that Cityread is a great initiative but am sorry to hear that you could not hear what was being said on the video. I have re-checked the link and it seems to be working ok and the sound is fine. Hopefully another ALAG member will be able to confirm this.
